Rank[]

  • Number 10. Alligator - There were stories of giant alligators living in sewers. With strong jaws, they are still very scary.
  • Number 9. Anaconda - Europeans returned from South America with stories of a monster that can swallow a human in a single gulp, but we are seldom on the menu.
  • Number 8. Tarantula - They are the biggest spiders in the world, but are no more toxic than a bee sting.
  • Number 7. Shark - They are capable of completely clearing a beach, but take only one bite and then spit us out because we are too bony, but can make a big hole in a human.
  • Number 6. Bear - They were responsible for 130 fatalities in North America alone for the last hundred years. We think they are always out to get us, but they are mostly vegetarian.
  • Number 5. Colossal Squid - They scared sailors for centuries, but they hunt in waters so deep, that there is no chance of those mighty tentacles ever latching onto us.
  • Number 4. Gorilla - They have scared both African explorers and the world's movie-goers, but they really are gentle vegetarians.
  • Number 3. Bat - Many people think that they attack you when they fly past our head. Thanks to vampire legend, people think all bats are dangerous and never see the good things they do in the dark.
  • Number 2. Piranha - Their ferocity is world-renowned, but they prefer to eat dead corpses and some of them are even vegetarians.
  • Number 1. Wolf - Preying on our minds for generations, but we've been persecuting them for centuries that they have more reasons to be afraid of us than we of them.
